Pre-Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup: Friday, May 15th, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Hayfield Fire Hall)

Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup: 8:00-8:45 AM

Start Time: 8K Run @ 9AM, 1.2 Mile Kid's Run @ 10:00 AM, 5K Run/Walk @ 10:30 AM

This is the 2nd Annual Hayfield Fire Department Fun Run/Walk. All proceeds go to Hayfield Fire Department Fundraising, Inc., to help offset the cost of more advanced training for the Hayfield Fire Department.

The race will start and finish at the Hayfield Fire Hall in Hayfield, MN. The race route will take runners/walkers through town and out of town to the south, and back into town through a different route.

Runners/walkers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to come to Hayfield and run/walk the 5K and/or run the 8K race.

Firefighters:
If you are a firefighter (full-time, part-time or volunteer), get a total of five firefighters from your station or department and come run the race. We will be awarding a traveling trophy to one department for the best average race time for the top five finishers from their station/department for the 5K run.

Kids
The kid's run will be open for kids in Kindergarten to age 12. All kids who enter will be given an official race t-shirt. All kids that finish the race and turn in a mile log indicating they have run 25 miles prior to the race will receive a "Marathon Finisher" t-shirt. (Hayfield students, see your teacher for details.) Pre-Registration:
Pre-registration is available through the Running Room (coming soon!) or by mailing in the registration form with a check made payable to Hayfield Fire Department Fundraising, Inc. (See cost above.) Pre-registered runners/walkers will be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Race Day Registration:
Race day registration begins at 8:00 AM at the Hayfield Fire Hall. Race day registrants will receive a t-shirt on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please make checks payable to Hayfield Fire Department Fundraising, Inc. (See cost above.)

The top three male and top three female finishers in the 8K and 5K races will receive a medal.
